We went to Pennsylvania this weekend to do unusual, historic, and fun things, and we found that this piece of nature is one of the best day trips you can do. It is located about a half-hour drive from the city of Harrisburg and is a great place to travel in any direction outside of town. There are many interesting places in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, but this is the best place for a day trip, especially if you are traveling toward Harrisburg.

The ornate rotunda of the building is an amazing piece of architecture, and if you visit Wilkes-Barre, PA, you should take the time to put your head inside and see for yourself.

For those interested in the supernatural, this museum is one of the best day trips in Pennsylvania. If you want to pack more outdoor excitement into your day trip to Central Pennsylvania, visit neighboring Hickory Run State Park.
